Office wear - long-sleeved button
downs and anything formal - tends to
be hot, uncomfortable and look out of
place on the beach.

CONSIDER TEXTURE

Sheer fabrics and textures like lace and
knit add more dimension and interest to
photos. A light sweater is a good option
on cool winter mornings (Dec – May).

CAUTION : ALOHA WEAR

Loud aloha wear and other overpower-
ing patterns distract from faces and of-
ten clash with other clothing. Use mini-
mally, especially on children.

CONSIDER FABRIC

Look for light, natural, flowing fabrics. Cloth-
ing that moves photographs beautifully.
Bonus if it’s cool and dries quickly.

CAUTION : POLOS

They feel stiff and out of place on the
beach. A short-sleeve button-down
or Henley are great alternatives. Surf
brands typically have great options.

CONSIDER COMFORT

Arrive ready to play! Make sure you’re
comfortable and can move and sit easily.
Don’t miss a moment beacause you’re
adjusting a bra strap or short skirt.
