Family groups can be tricky
They can whine and complain that they’re hungry or have to go to the bathroom … and I’m not talking about the kids. So I’m a little picky about what groups I’ll work with. I want to make sure that everyone, well, likes each other and that they’re ready to play. This family whole-heartedly embraced the concept. I was a little unsure because they were visiting from Korea and neither set of grandparents spoke any English. Would the language barrier be too much? Would there be a cultural barrier?
Fierce love
It was immediately evident that they fiercely loved their granddaughter. There was maybe even a little competition about who got to spend the most time with her for photos, but that’s a good problem to have. And little Chloe just glowed in all the love and attention. She had fallen asleep during the car ride over, but quickly woke up when she discovered that she was the star of the show. She happily skipped from adult to adult sharing hugs and kisses and little treasures she found on the beach. It turns out family love is universal.
