A much needed vacation

Many of my clients are doctors or medical students with young families. A grueling work schedule doesn’t leave much time for rest and relaxation so vacations become all that more important. This extended family of doctors planned a tropical getaway at the Four Seasons Resort at Koolina. Getting everyone together is such a rare occasion that we had to celebrate with a family reunion photo session. Since vacations are meant for fun, they brought they packed their swimsuits and were ready for anything. I brought my underwater camera.

About the session

The group made the short walk from their hotel to Paradise Cove. Despite the early wake up call, the kids were full of energy and ready to explore. The sun had just made its appearance and palm tree filtered light flooded the little cove. Immediately, the kids made a beeline to the water. They delighted in making footsteps in the fresh sand testing the water. It was a morning tossing and chasing energetic toddlers to the sounds of delighted shrieks and deep belly laughs. In other words, a perfect vacation morning in Hawaii.
