It’s been another strange weather month in Hawaii with hurricane threats and tropical storms. It’s kept us out of the ocean and pushed us to explore alternative entertainment like the skate park and bowling at Pali Lanes. Bowling was really fun, but I’m embarrassed to say I got a finger injury that still hurts 3 weeks later. From bowling. Getting old is just sad. I might have to use the kiddie ball next time. In any case, here’s a look back at our month.
This post is part of a monthly blog circle to document our year. Head over to Lorrin for a peek into her month.
I absolutely love this. What an amazing place to grow up. I live in Las Vegas and I think when folks visit here all they can imagine is “the strip”. Vegas is so much more.
My family and I will be visiting North Shore next week and I’ll be on the look out for these types of locations…so cool!!
I love the north shore! If you’re interested in off-the-beaten-path type of spots you may want to check out my “Keiki Monday” features where I take my kids to different spots around the island. You can find the archives here :: https://hilittlebird.com/category/oahu-for-kids/
