Double cuteness
I sat at my desk and stretched lazily as I waited for my computer to turn on. Scrolling through email inquiries with coffee in hand I stumbled across this message – “We would love to do a family session mainly focusing on our 6 month old baby girl….and possibly our bulldog.” I have to tell you, I was giddy with excitement – spilled my coffee excitement. A double dose of cuteness. I couldn’t wait!
A session at home + the beach
Dogs can get crazy at the beach or park. They have butts to sniff, logs to pee on, and tend to be on the wild side. It usually works best to photograph them at home where they feel safe and mellow. Same goes for babies (minus the butt sniffing of course). We met at their peaceful Kaneohe home and played under a stunning panorama of the Koolaus. Dog slobber was abundant. At one point baby Isla decided to take action. Either it was payback for being knocked over with enthusiastic licks or she was just trying to communicate, but she grabbed a handful of the dogs billowing jowls and kissed him full on the mouth. Oh, this little girl is going to be quite a character. We finished our time together with a little beach action at Kalama Beach Park.
Do you have a baby at home? Do you want to hold onto those happy memories?
