Amber had an unfortunate newborn photography experience. That can be especially disappointing with your first and only child. Everything is so new and exciting and you want to hold on to those first moments as a family. Of course you’re just so tired, it’s hard to really process any of it. Personally, I wouldn’t remember much of my children’s first years if I didn’t have any photos. They weren’t the best sleepers.
Anyway, our mutual friend connected us and we immediately scheduled a set of mini sessions to capture all those first year milestones. For Riley’s 3-month-session we decided to keep it easy and casual and stay at home. It was a lot of fun, but I am so excited about our future sessions together. Not only because I get to watch little Riley grow, but because we have plans for a session at the family’s flower farm on the windward side.
That sad little face and chub rolls are just precious.
Riley loves being in her crib, so we ended the session here for some big smiles.
