Lanikai Beach family portraits | One before we go

An Impulse

You know your vacation is amazing when you decide to book a photo session before you leave the next day. We travel fairly often as a family and it’s safe to say I’m fairly useless before a flight. I wander from room to room forgetting why I’m there and repeating the same actions senselessly. Did I look under the beds already? Wait, where is my passport? Do we have charging cables handy and where are the snacks? It’s not pretty, so I was extra impressed when Sophia scheduled a family photo session with twin toddlers and a pre-schooler just hours before their flight.

About their session

I met them at their stunning vacation rental on Lanikai Beach where the sand is powder soft and the waves lap gently on the shore. A diaper-clad toddler greeted me at the door and curiously investigated my camera case while everyone got ready. The kids each wanted to go their own direction and do their own thing. Instead of panicking, Sophia calmly wrangled all the littles for one last morning of sandy toes and salty kisses on the beach.
